Small Business Digital Marketing Assessment Initiative
Scope of Work
Digital Marketing Assessment, DMA, is an initiative that assists small businesses in the community maintain correct, consistent and current information across various digital marketing platforms. DMA also ensures businesses fully and properly engage on social media, and respond to reviews and comments in a timely and professional manner.
The initiative focuses on three primary categories using the Checklist:
Popular Search Engines, including Google, Bing, and Yelp, and Digital Resources, such as Apple Map and global electronic directories, such as YellowPages.com offer business listings at no charge. These listing enable searchers to easily find businesses in the area. To fully utilize these opportunities, businesses must provide: correct, consistent and current information.
Includes such things as address of business, business/industry category, hours and days of operation, closures during holiday hours, contact information and much more.
Includes all the above across all digital media, including social media, websites, and other forms of digital communication.
Includes holiday closures, special sales, new product announcements, product demos and other information that could be relevant to a prospective customer.
Search Engine Optimization can be an extremely technical subject matter for business owners. As the standards change, it becomes increasingly more difficult to keep up. With the DMA Initiative rubric, we make these standards accessible and understandable.
The rubric also helps to assess basic design elements for websites. Mobile responsiveness, tap-to-call phone numbers, and call-to-actions can have serious impact on your business.
How fast are you responding on Facebook? Is your branding and messaging consistent with the website? Have you thanked any good reviews and mitigated bad reviews? Unmanaged social media profiles can lower your credibility with potential customers.
We evaluate your social media profiles to help build those channel to build your audience, credibility and sales.
